Requirement: Reducing the Time to Get New Offers on the Market

A large mobile operator in Ireland had a strategic requirement to reduce the time to get new offers on the market. Assembling and deploying product offers required significant IT support, leading to slower roll-out times. To speed up rolling new offers to the market ComTrade has designed and built a highly successful product master data catalogue.

Leading Irish mobile operator also emphasized the need to be able to roll out new services quickly and obtain real-time performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of new services and new customer offerings. The system had to significantly enhance the product management experience for the operator staff rolling out new products, services, and bundled offerings. A key metric would be the ability to launch customer propositions on an as-needed basis across multiple access channels including IVR, WebStore, and Mobile Store initially, followed by Call Centre and retail shop channels.

According to the requirements, we designed the Offering Engine solution. Using our solution, leading Irish mobile operator can now seamlessly perform a variety of product management tasks that previously would have meant weeks of IT effort and custom-made system development. New product offerings and bundles can be launched easily and quickly using simple GUI tools to ensure the best propositions are in front of the right customers.
